L from Death Note

Here we are...my personal attempt to learn drawing Death Note is finally starting. (sorry, I need some motivation)
I'm totally unable so decided to start simply copying, and will continue copying the original till being sure I've learnt. (Brrrr....hope it works )
So here is L in a.. er... "clou moment" of the plot (probably the cutest expression of the whole series in both anime/manga ).
Yeah, my L came out a bit too childish and cross-eyed, but I said that, I need a loooooooot of practice.
The point is, that I had to look continuously at the manga to draw this...Will I ever be able to draw L without help???? dunno.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
